We need someone to identify experts who should be on our platform, recruit them successfully, and build the foundation for our go-to-market operation. The ideal candidate is someone who can operate independently, enjoys building from zero to one, and has a track record of turning conversations into outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Research and identify target experts across different industries
- Develop outreach strategies and messaging that converts prospects
- Run the full sales cycle from initial contact to platform onboarding
- Work directly with the CEO on calls and pitches until you can handle them independently
- Create repeatable processes and materials for future team members
- Track what works and what doesn’t, then optimize based on data
What We’re Looking For
- Relevant experience in business development, sales, or customer acquisition roles
- Natural ability to build relationships and earn trust quickly
- Comfortable with ambiguity and building processes from scratch
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Data-driven approach to testing and optimizing outreach
- Track record of turning prospects into customers through direct engagement
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with leadership
Success Metrics
- Number of qualified experts recruited monthly
- Conversion rate from initial contact to platform signup
- Time to close deals
- Quality of recruited experts (engagement, retention)
This role reports to the CEO and will grow into managing a sales team as we scale.
