PR & Marketing Lead
We need someone to drive growth through storytelling, PR, and guerrilla marketing. You'll own press relationships, content strategy, and viral campaigns that position Onix at the center of the AI sovereignty conversation.
We need someone to drive growth through world-class storytelling and guerrilla marketing. The ideal candidate has generated major press coverage for early-stage companies, built viral campaigns, and knows how to turn product launches into cultural moments.
What You’ll Do
- Own PR strategy and secure major media coverage across tech press and mainstream outlets
- Write and place op-eds, press releases, and thought leadership content
- Build relationships with tech journalists, podcasters, and industry influencers
- Create viral marketing campaigns that generate massive organic momentum
- Develop content strategy across blog, social, and community channels
- Support founder visibility through speaking opportunities and media training
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track-record driving PR and marketing at high-growth tech companies
- Proven track record of major media wins (TechCrunch, Wired, WSJ, major podcasts)
- Exceptional writing skills across formats (press releases, social, long-form)
- Experience building viral campaigns and cultural movements
- Deep network of media contacts in tech, AI, and privacy spaces
- Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced startup environments
Success Metrics
- Major media coverage and narrative penetration
- Explosive waitlist and user growth metrics
- Social media virality and engagement rates
- High-profile speaking opportunities and conference keynotes secured
- Community-generated content and organic brand evangelism
This role reports to the CEO and will build out the marketing function as we scale.
